Smart devices with the power they need

Google Nest Thermostat and Doorbell Wiring, Same Day in Orem, UT

Google Nest thermostats and doorbells are easy to buy and sometimes hard to power. Many problems come down to a missing C-wire or a weak doorbell transformer. Our licensed Orem electricians fix the wiring so Nest devices stay online. We also help owners of the Nest Protect, which Google stopped making in 2025. Need Google Nest help fast? We take emergency calls 24 hours a day, and most visits from an electrician near you can be booked same day.

Keeping Nest devices powered and online

  • Thermostats: many systems need a C-wire for steady power. Without it, the thermostat can drop offline.
  • Doorbells: wired Nest doorbells need a transformer with enough power. Old chime transformers are often too weak.
  • Nest Protect: Google ended production in 2025. Existing units keep working until they expire, and Google recommends a First Alert smart alarm as the replacement.
