Adjustable charging that fits your panel

ChargePoint Home Flex Installation Near You in Orem, UT

The ChargePoint Home Flex is a Level 2 charger you can set from 16 to 50 amps, so it adapts to the panel you have. It comes in plug-in and hardwired versions and works with most EVs. Our licensed Orem electricians install it, set the right amperage and handle the permit. We also install ChargePoint units for businesses. From an urgent emergency to planned ChargePoint work, we answer 24 hours a day and send an electrician near you, often the same day.

Plug-in or hardwired Home Flex?

  • Plug-in: uses a NEMA 14-50 or 6-50 outlet. Easy to swap later.
  • Hardwired: needed for the top 50-amp setting and preferred outdoors.
  • Amperage: set to match your breaker during setup in the ChargePoint app.

If your panel is tight, a lower setting lets you charge without an upgrade.

ChargePoint questions

What amperage should my Home Flex be set to?

It should match your circuit. A 40-amp setting usually needs a 50-amp breaker, for example.

Plug-in or hardwired Home Flex?

Plug-in is flexible. Hardwired allows the full 50-amp setting and is better outdoors.

Does the Home Flex work with my EV?

It uses the J1772 connector, which fits most non-Tesla EVs. Teslas can use an adapter.

Do you install ChargePoint at businesses?

Yes. We plan and install commercial stations.

Does a ChargePoint install need a permit?

Yes. We pull the permit and schedule the inspection.
